Back from the brink

So again we have been slack with the blogs, so again we apologise (we know you were all dying with anticipation for the next installment):P

Well we spent 3 weeks in India as many of you know. We had an ok time. With the risk of sounding like completely spoilt brats, we have to say India wasn't really for us. We have done some "out there" kind of places before but India really is a completely different "kettle of fish". With the combination of constant harrasment, pollution on an obscene scale, tummy upsets, altitude sickness and the corruption, we just kinda found it all a bit much. But there were of course some good points. Seeing the Taj, hiking in nepal, seeing the world's 3rd highest peak and spending time in the mountain town of Darjeeling; were some of the highlights for us. So of course those things make it worth while.

So the shop is operating by appointment only for the past week and we will be back to business as usual from 3rd of May. Sorry to anyone who has popped by the shop during this time. I've had to have some surgery and Matt has had to be at the shop on his own. So he is concentrating on all the appointments he has and won't have time for the day to day running of the shop.

That's about it for now, so long folks.

St. George's Day

Here's a few from yesterday. Also did some hairdressing scissors on my cousin Aaron earlier in the week, so put those up as well.

Something old, something new, something half done

The half sleeve is fully healed on Charlie who came down today to check out the new shop, so was good to get a healed photo and filled up a little gap on his arm to finish off the whole arm (the top half wasn't done by me). Just did a little eye to fit the space, and drew it on free hand.
The Russian Doll's on Layla and still needs a lot more work done but was fun to do so I wanted to post it up now! Fully finished piece should be up in a couple of weeks.
